Hello All! I'm based in Hove, most of the time. and I just happened to be on Gumtree looking for someone to escort me to swimmimg!.
Yes, I have social phobia, and anxiety symptoms. I'm medically 'morbidly obese'. have Diabetes, and Hypertension. I'm confined to anywhere I can get to by car. Have you had any luck with finding an 'escort' on Gumtree? I really admire your courage. I wouldn't have the guts to do that.

It's good that you'll be starting CBT. I know that it can sometimes take many months to be seen. I've found it useful myself so good luck!

Hi Martin, thanks for the welcome. I'm sure 'this'll' become quite a site if we try to get from it what we expect, by asking? (if that makes sense) We all know bits and bobs of how we got to where we are now, and I'm sure we have different experiences along the way. So sharing those experiences, must assist others. Right?!
Anyway. I'm glad to be able to express my experiences with people I believe understand.
