Interview
« on: June 17, 2009, 08:44:07 AM »
Today I have an interview to see if I can do my SIA training. It's just a "formality" for police records check and ID information but apparently the course is a shoe in as long as you don't have a record.

I'm still bricking it though  :P

This will for sure be kill or cure for me. I'll either turn into psycho man and run a mile or I'll cope with it. So far the jury is still out.

Anyway wish me luck and if I'm not at the meet this evening you know why ;)

Good luck Wavey! I'm sure you won't need it though.  ;)

Life just keep kicking me in the ar**.

First I get an email telling me I'm on the course. Then a phonecall saying the email was sent to the wrong person and that the LSC who fund the course say that I'm "Not Financially Viable" for the course as they only get paid if someone gets a job at the end of it.

They were worried that because I have SA that I wouldn't want to get a job so I was refused a place.

Life really can make you sick sometimes :(

That's shocking mate. What made them think it was a good idea to string you along like that?  :(
