Okay. I can't see a positive end to this so I'm closing the thread.

The original poster has posted this across multiple forums and chances are that they have no real reason to be on Brighton Anxiety Forum in particular. As moderator I seek to let things take their course as much as possible but I feel that I now, for the first time ever, need to close this thread for the benefit of the forum.

Knowing everyone involved, except the original thread starter, makes this all seem even more surreal! Why? Well you're all respectful, intelligent people who would enjoy debating this in person with very little chance of it becoming as heated as it has here. Sometimes something different happens when we're behind a computer's monitor or the wheel of a car.
