I recently received this email (now edited slightly by me) and thought that some of you might be interested in taking part. I've attached the full details as a word document. Click the little paperclip at the bottom of this post if it interests you:
Hi there,
My name is June Leslie and I'm a trainee clinical psychologist carrying out research with Professor Paul Salkovskis into the impact of anxiety on parenting and people's attitudes towards having children. In our clinical work, we've found that many sufferers really worry about the effects of their anxiety problems on their children, and that for some this even factors into decisions about having children. The study we're running aims to explore these kinds of beliefs in order to develop better ways of supporting sufferers and ensuring that anxiety problems don't prevent them from living the lives they want.
In short, we are looking for women between the ages of 18-45 to take part and we're interested in those who have children as well as those who do not. Participation involves filling out questionnaires (which can be sent and returned by post) and carrying out a brief telephone interview. In addition, we are offering people ?10 vouchers for their time.
