DISABILITY LIVING ALLOWENCE.
« on: February 09, 2008, 08:56:06 PM »
Hi guys my name for these boards is Jack. As I dont want to use my real name please forgive my creating a false name.

I am re-applying for DLA and am really afraid of loosing my money as I genuinelly need it for the private therapy I fund to help me cope with my anxiety.

I am very interested to know if anyone would like to exchange views and experiences on this issue.

Yours Jack.

Hey man.

I left my job in late september of last year due to anxiety and depression I have since been battling for income support and finally got it sorted last week, it was an absolute relief... although i'm not happy with taking money off the state, it helps a great deal.

Take it easy.
When you say I'll never work in this town again, is that a promise or a threat?

hi guys,
Jack, ...do you think you won't get DLA this time ?  Why's that?

I have been signed off sick & claimed Incapacity Benefit in Jan.  I didn't realise I could claim DLA until a support worker (debts) suggested it to me.  Maybe you could get some help/advice to support your claim?  There's quite a few place that do free welfare advice....if that's what you need.  I think with a covering letter from doctor & welfare advisor, "they" are less likely to turn down your claim.

Do you need any help /advice for this???
