I'm a bit crap with reading as depends where my head's at in terms of concentration so I go though periods. Am also brilhant at not finishing books, not really sure how I got through my degree...oh actually, I do...lots of cheating by reading york notes..anyone remember those? just before the invention of wikipedia and google, but I digress...
I also loved memories of a geisha and the bell jar..perfect for those angsty moments

Sophie's world - jostein gardner
The Dice man - Luke Reindhart..bit weird but very interesing
The good women of china - hidden voices...or something like that. I do so like to read about others people's dirginess
Tipping the velvet - sarah walters (and her books in general)
Tuesdays with Morrie - Mitch albom (and his others)
Harry Potter

The Handmaids Tale - that woman writer I forget whose name it is now
Silas Marner - George Elliot (thinks its one of the only books I read proper through my degree!)
I have a terrible appetite for urban fantasy and Kelley Armstrong books in general and like crime books.
Thats all I can remember, have a shocking memory and can't tell you the number of books I've gotten out of the library when I've already read them...or tried too
