I also have so many health probs which im really anxious about.. i've had m.e. for 7 years, i have autoimmune thyroid disease which is compicated and am seing an endo next week, i have lots of other health stuff and 4 different specialists to see soon.
I'm really isolated as im ill at home alone and my social phobia is getting worse!

i look forward to meeting you guys as i so need to learn to cope with anxiety and tolerate stress  and illness a bit better.

Hi Bluebell welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear about all your difficulties. I suffer with general anxiety and OCD and some days it feels very bad and hard to even get up but I keep plodding on and try to keep busy. I go to the group on Wednesday at 2pm and it has helped me so much, everyone is so supportive and lovely. If you are interested in giving it a go then I could meet you beforehand.

Everyone understands and we all experience similar experiences with this "curse" called anxiety.

Best wishes Eli

Hi Bluebell, Welcome.

Sounds like you have a lot going on! Are you able to get out of the house at the moment? We'd love to see at one of our meets if you can make it.

I also just wanted to clarify that 'Capricorn' is offering to meet you before meets if it makes it easier for you. Meeting someone beforehand is not a requirement or anything. The meetings are ridiculously informal and people are just welcome to turn up on the day.

I know that we have at least one other forum member with chronic fatigue syndrome.
I hope that you find the site useful. There really are some fantastic members on this site and it's a great way to fight the isolation.

Best wishes,
Martin.  ;D
