Hello

I am looking for a hypnotherapy cd for social anxiety - but cant work out which ones are rubbish. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I saw a ref to "Dr Richards CDs" on one of the other threads - what are these?

I am using a labour/giving birth hypnotherapy CD at the moment - if it helps with that, I'm sure it can help with my anxiety too! I'll let you know. More anxious about going to the baby groups than giving birth - that's just not right! LOL!

The Dr Richards (American SA 'guru') CDs are part of a complete Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programme involving listening and reading and back in the day cost somewhere between $300-$500 to buy, although I don't think I've ever met anyone who has ever paid for them.  SA-UK is a good place to look.    Wink

Hi

I've bought some downloads from http://www.hypnoshop.com/.  I haven't used them for a while, but I thought they were pretty good (and reasonably priced).  I have http://www.hypnoshop.com/hypnosis-cds-mp3s/anxiety-release.html and http://www.hypnoshop.com/hypnosis-cds-mp3s/overcome-shyness.html by Barrie St John.

I'd be very interested to know whether hypno birthing helped you, as my husband and I are hoping to start a family this year, and it's something I'd consider trying.
